Looking at your dash and seeing the tire pressure light illuminated can be a scary thing. What does it mean? At Denham Ford, we are here to help you. This way, you don’t encounter tire pressure problems in Wetaskiwin, AB.
One of the most common reasons for the tire pressure light coming on is a change in the pressure. The light illuminates to tell you that it is either too high or too low. This is usually due to a change in temperature. Hotter temperatures can lead to more pressure while colder temperatures can lead to less pressure.
There are a few other reasons why the tire pressure monitor light may illuminate, too. There may be a puncture, causing a slow leak of air. You may also have damaged the sensor inside of the tire, requiring it to be replaced.
