Entertainment
Entertainment comes standard on the 2019 Ford EcoSport. Base S models start with a six-speaker AM/FM/CD stereo audio system with MP3 capability. SE trims add SiriusXM Satellite Radio and also have the option to upgrade to a seven-speaker premium system, while SES models come with the extra speaker as standard.
Titanium owners enjoy a 10-speaker B&O Sound System by Bang & Olufsen, which Ford designed explicitly for the EcoSport. Voice-activated navigation, eight-inch touchscreen audio controls, and Ford's SYNC or SYNC3 connectivity round out the EcoSport's entertainment highlights.
Technology
An available 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot paired with the FordPass App allows drivers to remotely check the EcoSport's fuel level, lock and unlock its doors, and start the vehicle right through the app. All EcoSport trims come with Ford's MyKey technology, which lets owners program personalized settings for individual keys.
Programmable parameters include the EcoSport's top speed as well as the entertainment system's audio volume. MyKey also sounds a warning when the fuel tank reaches 120 kilometres to empty, a safety belt for an occupied seat is unbuckled, and when the EcoSports exceeds a predetermined speed of 75, 90, or 105 km/h.
Interior
Standard or available interior comforts found on the new 2019 Ford EcoSport include a leather-wrapped, heated steering wheel with built-in cruise and audio controls, electronic automatic temperature control, and heated, premium cloth or leather-appointed seating. Automatic Headlights with a Courtesy Delay, a 4.2-inch LCD message center, and eight cup-holders also come on every 2019 EcoSport.
Performance
The 2019 EcoSport offers exceptional handling thanks to standard features like Torque Vectoring Control, Traction Control, and AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control. A 1.0L EcoBoost engine and front-wheel drive come standard on all models, with a 2.0L Ti-VCT I-4 engine and Ford's Intelligent 4WD System as available options on all trims, as well.
Both engines feature Auto Start-Stop Technology, and both get linked to a 6-Speed SelectShift Automatic Transmission. The EcoSport seats five passengers and gets excellent fuel economy at 8.4L/100km combined city/highway.
Safety
Exceptionally safe, every new Ford EcoSport features Ford Co-Pilot 360 Technology. Hill Start Assist, a rearview camera, and rain-sensing wipers are just a few of the many features included with Co-Pilot 360 technology. The Ecosport's Blind Spot Information System with Cross-Traffic Alert alerts drivers when a vehicle is in their blind-spot, or warn of an approaching vehicle from the side, while in reverse.
