Ford Edge Models
Four trims - SE, SEL, Titanium, and ST - a choice of front or all-wheel drivetrains, and lots of packages make getting the perfect Edge a breeze.
Entertainment
SE and SEL models come standard with a six-speaker AM/FM/CD stereo audio system. SEL trims have the option to upgrade to a premium 9-speaker system. Titanium and ST editions enjoy a top-of-the-line 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen B&O Sound System. The B&O system includes an in-trunk subwoofer and individual tweeters and woofers. All Edge entertainment systems come with either Ford SYNC or Ford SYNC 3, SiriusXM satellite radio, and colour touchscreen controls.
Technology
The new Ford Edge comes loaded with class-leading technologies like Intelligent Access with Push-Button Start, MyFord Touch voice recognition, and a hands-free foot-activated liftgate. Every new Edge also comes with FordPass Connect connectivity.
FordPass Connect lets owners lock, unlock, and start their Edge right from the available FordPass app. It also provides key vehicle information, lets owners schedule and pay for service, and even helps find parking. Ford also offers an optional dual-headrest rear-seat entertainment system on all models.
Interior
Standard or available interior comforts include heated and ventilated driver and front passenger seats, leather-trimmed sports seats with Miko Suede cloth Inserts ( ST models), and 10-way power driver and front passenger seats.
Dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control, power windows with One-Touch-Up/Down driver and passenger windows, and second-row EasyFold seats come standard on all Edge trims. All but SE buyers have the option to add a voice-activated touchscreen navigation system featuring pinch-to-zoom capability and SiriusXM Traffic and Travel Link, as well.
Safety
Ford's Co-Pilot 360 Technology makes the new Edge one of the safest vehicles on the road today. The Co-Pilot 360 suite of driver-assist features includes Cross-Traffic Alert, Lane-Keeping Assist, and Blind Spot Information systems on all models.
Ford's Enhanced Active Park Assist System (Titanium and ST models), includes Parallel Parking Assist, Park Out Assist, Reverse Perpendicular Parking Assist, and Forward and Side Sensing Assist systems.
Performance
Base SE and SEL trims come with a twin-scroll 2.0L EcoBoost engine, while Titanium and ST models feature an impressive 335-horsepower 2.7L twin-turbo EcoBoost power plant. Both engines use Auto Start-Stop Technology for improved fuel economy, and both come paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Titanium and ST editions come standard with Ford's Intelligent All-Wheel Drive Disconnect. The 2020 Ford Edge seats five and gets 11.4/8.3 L/100km City/Hwy on FWD models, and 12.6/9.2 L/100km City/Hwy on AWD editions.
